The Ebola outbreak continues in the war torn Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Nearly 400 people have died so far.
The response is complicated by conflict which makes providing ongoing , secure and effective care extremely difficult.
As ever there are a multitude of news stories and world events occurring that make something like this minimally interesting to the media. Having been involved in Ebola I am aware of the impact of the disease, not only in terms of mortality but also in its ongoing social impact which lasts for years.
Just be aware that this is happening and that by donating to Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders you can be part of the solution for the people affected. As ever I say – you are powerful, your choices matter, your donations matter. There is NO SUCH THING AS A SMALL DONATION.
